World Map.

As I have loved you, love one another // John 13:34

Each day, we tend to focus our prayer on things in our personal lives. Whether that is for ourselves or others around us that we feel are in need of prayer. It is easy to forget that there is a World of God’s people that are in need of prayer. At this station, take some time to look over the map of the world, and find a place you feel called to pray for. This can be a city, a country, a continent, or the entire world itself. Take a sticker and place it on that location after you are done praying.

Prayer Requests.

Cast you cares on the Lord and he will sustain you // Psalm 55:22

Leave a prayer request – On the corkboard, you may share a prayer request so that others may pray for you! Write down your prayer request on an index card, and pin it to the corkboard. You may leave your name or keep it anonymous.

Take a prayer request – Take one of the index cards with you to a prayer station, and use that request as inspiration for your time in prayer. Or, you may take the prayer request with you to continue to use in your prayer life throughout the week.

**This would be great for a one night event, but you could also have this set up in a Sunday school room in your church to have available at all times.

Servant Heart.

Speak Lord, your servant is listening // 1 Samuel 3:9

God is always calling us to show God’s love to others. What are ways that you can do that? Take a moment and pray about how you may be in service for God. Will you promise to show a stranger kindness? Will you help out a neighbor? Will you try to attend a mission trip this year? Service to others is not a one-time thing, it is a daily commitment. Think about the small ways you can change your daily routines to change someone else’s life.

Take a piece of cloth, write out your commitment, and drape it over the arms of the wooden cross.

Candle Prayer.

When I remember you in my prayers, I always thank my God // Philemon 1:4

Light a candle for someone you know who is having a hard time. Pray that God will find a way to heal their hurt, and help them move on.

Thankful Lists

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever // Psalm 107:2

Take a piece of notebook paper, and make a list of everything in your life you are thankful for. What makes you happy? What brings you joy? Who provides for you? What are your talents? Make a list of everything that comes to mind. This can be as simply as listing your favorite food, to being thankful for your best friend. When you are done, count how many items you have and recognize the many gifts God has given you.

Light Unto My Path

Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path // Psalm 119:105

Take this time to sit in the quiet space, and take the spiritual gifts survey provided. As you answer each question, think of specific examples in your life that you may have encountered these situations. Answer each questions honestly. When you are done, pray over the results. Take into consideration where you may apply these gifts in your daily life. Before you leave this station, ask God to share with you how you can follow God’s path for you.

  1. Spiritual Gifts Survey – there are many that can be found online. Pick one of your liking, some take longer than others.   Look over the results page and see if the gifts given go accordingly with your denomination.

I have written your name on the palms of my hands // Isaiah 49:16

What is God calling you to in your life? What are your passions? We know that God created each of us for a purpose. Take some time to meditate on what your passions are in life. What brings you joy? What are your talents? After a few minutes, go to the canvas and trace your hand. In your hand, sign your name as a commitment to following what God’s plan for you is. It is hard for us to always know what our calling is, but with prayer we can listen to God along the way in our journey of life. Take this as a commitment to trust God’s call for you.
